About Winning Guide to Goals

The guide sets out an approach to thinking about goals, setting them, breaking them down and pursuing them.[3] It argues that realistic and achievable goals keep people inside their comfort zone, and teaches what it calls the SMUUT Method instead.[1] In Fell's framework, a SMUUT goal is specific, measurable, unachievable when it is set, unrealistic and time-bound.[4] A breakdown step, which the listing calls the Power of 10 and Fell's writing calls the 1+3+6 process, splits a vision into three sub-goals and six immediate actions.[1][4] The guide also covers a change of mindset, from safe planning to what it calls extraordinary execution.[1]
