About dub

As of September 2026, dub charged a $10 monthly subscription or $90 a year, with unlimited trading included.^[3] Investors can apply to its Creator Program to have their own portfolios copied, through dub Advisors, the company's investment advisory arm.^[4]^[5] dub Advisors supplies strategy design, compliance oversight and portfolio management infrastructure for those registered creators.^[5] Wang has attributed the app's growth to young people investing more on trends and online influence than on calculated decision-making.^[3]

dub Advisors is a wholly owned subsidiary of DASTA and an SEC-registered internet adviser.^[5] Brokerage services come from dub Financial, LLC, a registered broker-dealer and FINRA and SIPC member, with clearing by Apex Clearing Corporation.^[2]^[5] The company says it raised a $17 million seed round and later a $30 million Series A, bringing its total funding to $47 million.^[2]^[6]

The company states that brokerage accounts are SIPC-insured up to $500,000.^[7] It also notes that SEC registration does not imply any particular level of skill or training, that all investments involve risk, including loss of principal, and that past performance does not guarantee future results.^[5]^[7] The app is rated 18+.^[7]
