About The Virtual Bookkeeping Series

Day 1 explains what bookkeeping is, how it works in software, what clients pay, the business model and who can become a bookkeeper.[3] Day 2 walks through bookkeeping for a client from start to finish and gives members a chance to try it.[3] Day 3 is a strategy session that sets out a 30 to 60 day launch plan, with a PDF copy of the roadmap.[3] The series is self-paced, so the three days can be watched in one sitting or one at a time.[3]

Peace discovered bookkeeping in 2016 and built a bookkeeping business from home before teaching others.[2][4] Peace is also the creator of The Bookkeeping Course, a self-paced program that teaches beginners bookkeeping in QuickBooks, business setup and client management.[2][4][5] As of September 2026, lifetime access to the course cost $997, with payment plans available.[5] On mariahpeace.com, Peace describes the coaching as aimed at mothers who want to become professional bookkeepers from home.[6]

The course states that no license, accounting degree or finance background is needed, and that bookkeepers are not accountants and do not prepare taxes.[5] It also states that it does not promise clients, income, business success or results within a set timeframe.[5]
