About Retained Hub

Members get a training on winning retained work consistently, replays of masterclasses on selling, pitching and AI strategies, free resources and frameworks, and support from other recruiters.^[1]

Retrained Search was founded by Louise Archer, who had spent more than 20 years in recruitment beforehand.^[3] Its team includes co-owner Sarah Chester, an AI marketing strategist whose work rests on what the company calls the shortlist philosophy, along with Clare Brevitt as director of customer success and Jordan Taylor as director and search coach.^[3] In a November 2024 Onrec profile, Archer said that turning the in-person training into short online videos and an e-learning platform took three months of scripting and filming.^[2]

The paid range includes a core retained search training course, an advanced coaching mastermind open only to leaders whose firms already win at least half their work on a retained basis, and a digital marketing programme for search firm owners and marketing staff.^[4] Retrained Search also shares tips, advice and interviews on selling and delivering retained assignments on YouTube, and offers a 45-minute demo with its team.^[3]^[5]
