About No Theory Club - Learn Guitar

Lessons start from four chords, one strumming pattern and a song, and the club's 7 Day Challenge puts songs first so that each skill is learned because a song needs it.[3] Members follow a Fast Track Song Path of three levels, Campfire Starter, Adding Flavour and Fingerstyle Master, backed by a playthrough library in which every song is played slowly on video with the chords on screen.[3] Belt challenges each target one skill, such as chord forming, rhythm or chord flow, over one week.[3] The group also offers a practice app built for phones, trackers for accountability, more than 50 classic songs to play along with, a weekly live workshop for questions and monthly open mic nights.[1][3]

No Theory Club also runs a YouTube channel and publishes free guides, including 9 Essential Chords, a 4 Chord Song List, a strumming guide, a chord-switching guide and a 30 Day Streak.[2][3] Rice describes performing hundreds of shows and learning thousands of songs over two years.[3]

Membership begins with a 7-day free trial that can be cancelled at any time without paying.[1][3] The listing also says that members who do not master chord switching and rhythm before the trial ends will be taught personally for free.[1]
