About Learn Spanish - Layers Method

The method rests on the listing's claim that 80% of daily speech uses the same 300 of Spanish's 90,000 words, and it plays down grammar that is not used in regular conversation.[1] The course works through Spanish one layer at a time, in order of priority, and the listing offers a free trial.[1]

The Layers Method website offers a free account with a limited number of decks, with monthly or annual upgrades.[2] The site also carries comments from students that mention a conversation test at the end of layer one, flash cards, audio downloads and personal decks.[2]
