About Invest & Retire Community

Seto is a Chartered Professional Accountant and Chartered Investment Manager.[2] Eric Seto Research Limited operates 5mininvesting.com, which Seto created to share investing lessons.[2] The strategy taught there is the one Seto also teaches in Investing Accelerator, and the site dates Seto's first coaching student to 2018.[2] The coaching is educational: the site says it does not manage investments or make specific investment recommendations.[2] On YouTube, Seto describes working as an audit manager at KPMG and investing for the long term, only once or twice a year.[3]

The YouTube content is described as being for information and entertainment only, and not as financial, investment or other professional advice.[3] It also notes that investing carries risk and that past results do not indicate future ones.[3] The website adds that the risks could include losing all capital, and that its testimonials and examples show exceptional results that are not typical and do not guarantee that others will get the same outcome.[2]
