About 1st Drone Academy

Members can ask other drone users for advice, and a paid course, Drone Like a PRO, adds tailored flight exercises.^[1] Its first module deals with planning and preparation, from permissions and equipment checks to flying conditions and avoiding drone loss, and its second with flight execution.^[2] The course is self-paced, includes feedback, templates and checklists, and is paid for once.^[2]

Olsen runs the brand Tech Drone Media and has helped drone pilots with the rules and safe flying since 2016.^[3] Its own site offers an online A1/A3 course on the open category rules, an A2 course with in-person teaching, and a drone club called Mini Droner DK.^[3] The Tech Drone Media YouTube channel reviews sub-250g drones from DJI and Autel and posts tutorials, while a second channel covers DJI drones and drone business.^[4]^[5]
