Conduit's chat agents reply to guests across email, WhatsApp, OTAs and social channels, and its voice agents handle phone calls, for hotel teams, serviced-apartment operators and short-term rental managers.[2][3] The company was founded in 2024 and is backed by Y Combinator, and its about page names Cole, who built and operated vacation rentals, and Punn, who built AI infrastructure at Google.[4] Tech Funding News reported that Conduit was founded as Host AI by Cole Rubin and that London-based Pi Labs led a funding round in which Y Combinator also took part.[5]
