About Youth Ministry Mastermind

The group's owner is executive director of Generation Unashamed Ministries and hosts the Beyond The Youth Room podcast.[1] Generation Unashamed, which took its current name in a 2025 rebrand, has worked since 1997 to equip churches to reach the next generation and connect young people to a local church.[2] Its mission includes preparing students to act as missionaries among their peers and supporting youth pastors as they lead those students.[2] The ministry launched the Beyond the Youth Room podcast and its first national youth-pastor network training cohort in 2023, and says its resources are free, with no paywalls.[2] Keith Seymour, the ministry's executive director, has spent more than 20 years in youth ministry, including the most recent 14 as a youth pastor at McLean Bible Church.[2]

Under its earlier name, the ministry was a multi-denominational 501(c)(3) nonprofit that ran EDGE Clubs, after-school clubs started by student leaders who act as campus missionaries and invite their friends, and held monthly gatherings for local youth leaders.[2][3] A YouTube channel for youth pastors posts new videos every week, with leadership tips, gospel-focused ministry strategies, conversations about student culture and discipleship ideas.[4]
