About Investing as Self-Employed BE

Topics include drawing money out of a company, investing personal and company funds, choosing pension plans and funds, and weighing tax against returns.[1] FIRE Belgium takes its index investing strategy from the Bogleheads community and adapts it to Belgian markets, taxes and brokers.[4]

Aguilar leads the FIRE Belgium online index investing course, and the business also runs a six-week cohort bootcamp for beginners, occasional expert events and an in-person mastermind for course participants.[2][4] He also gives one-to-one consultations and hosts The FIRE Belgium Show, a video and audio podcast whose guests have included JL Collins.[2][5] A free workshop of about an hour and 20 minutes also offers a paid program.[6]

FIRE Belgium states that it is not a financial adviser, sells no investment products, takes no commissions, holds no client money and does not provide regulated investment advice or product recommendations.[2]
