Franklin is the founder of Defund Simping and a professional dating coach who works with men on confidence, dating app results, approaching naturally and dating with clearer standards.[2] He began making TikToks about dating in 2020, and the brand also runs a YouTube channel under the slogan "Defunding the simp movement".[2][3] The Defund Simping site sells an 8-week coaching program for men, with weekly live coaching calls, daily access to Franklin and his team, dating app optimization and texting practice.[2] The weeks run from goal setting and basics in week 1, through photos and dating app messaging in week 4, to first dates in week 8.[2]
The site states that refunds for the program are prorated, so cancelling in week 4 returns half the fee.[2]
